Henry
A very sad day today. Henry our smelly old dog , has been unable to walk properly and wasn`t in a good way so he was taken to the vets tonight. They said he had suffered from a stroke. He was put to sleep...He was a great dog and we will miss him..

Hello,
Its been a while but I have have been a bit busy..
Helen`s Dad Eddy is not very well at the moment and collapsed at home. He is now in hospital and will be having a blood transfusion tonight. hopefully he will be back on his feet soon..
I am back to work after a week off. It was a good week. Didn`t do much, but it is sometimes nice just to be at home with the family. Went out with GAv Bowler 41(F) ex liney last week and didn`t get in till well past bed time. I drank enough to make me feel unwell for two days!..(4am!)
Promotion news...
Have been told that I should be getting promoted in the next couple of weeks!.. This is good news as paying a mortgage and a married quarter is taking its toll...every little helps an all that.

my Uncle Pete (my dads brother) will be emigrating to Australia next month so I will probably never see him again as my Dad died in 1996 and its only funerals where people seem to meet up these days..shame
kids are good,mafu has had his hair cut..what a bloody fuss.!! screaming etc... Dan is as noisy as ever..usual stuff. We Organised a big halloween party, went down well with the kidz
Fishing
Have been learning fly fishing with a neighbour..Another Martin
really enjoyed it, but it was very difficult to get to grips with..need more practice
did manage to hook a couple of fair size grayling though.
Martin is a good teacher...he is posted in April so I need to learn all I can while he is here.
So what have you lot been doing? Heard from Huge Beech and he says Richie and Simon are off before xmas so I will be interested to see where Richie is going.. Simon is off on Eurofighter.
Hope they will be happier than me!
If anyone has emailed me at work I haven`t replied cos I have`n been there until this week.

just read the above and it sounds like they are dead!! they are fine except for the usual grumblings about backs and pills and ......etc :)

Taverham House no2
This was our second we bought in 99. We got lucky here as the house was in need of some improvement. It did smell a bit! They had a cork tiled floor in the downstairs toilet and it was soaked in...well you can guess! It took about a day to get the floor up and the house smelt fine.
A new kitchen and decorating it was all fine
bought for 65k sold for 112k in 2002!!!
we were pleased with this!!
The house was in Taverham and we loved living there. Dan was born whilst we were here and the area was great for kids stuff. We may be back to Norfolk, especially if Cosford closes.
our first house
This is our first house (North Walsham,Norfolk). We bought it for £45k and sold it for £52k so we were really pleased.
I was an SAC so money was a bit tight paying the mortgage but it got us well and truly on the ladder.
memory lane (kuwait 99)
Pete Middleton got redundancy last year and now runs an electrical business and also does property development.Pete is one of the funniest people I have ever met. I Once kicked him awake as some senior officers visited our test unit. Pete quick as a flash jumped up and gave a great report of how things were going. It`s a shame he didn`t notice the "inprint of bubblewrap" on his face from his makeshift pillow.....priceless

The kids had pizza, then we had some wine....

End of another week
Well, I have finished the Advanced programming course at blandford and guess what? got another course next week--Real time applications.
What else has been going on... well just booked a holiday to centerparcs for next Feb. We have been before, so looking forward to that.
This weekend we have been to cholderton farm-park which is just down the road. Had a good day and the weather was really good--will post some pics.

Jo is Helen`s sister. Pete is her husband.
Jo had her own hairdressing business in Stafford and sold it a few years back to finance a house they built on the outskirts of Stafford. They also bought adjoining plots and sold those on when their build was completed..Jo still does mobile when not designing their house!
Pete Started his career a civilian heating engineer at RAF Stafford and is a dab hand at Electrics to. He works at Stafford Hospital now as a network engineer but hopes to finish in 5yrs and work with on a new venture!!!! hopefully with me: )
